Woolpack Inn

The Woolpack Inn is a bed and breakfast come up located in the beautiful village of
Eskdale in the Lake District. Take your foot off the gas and three the wonderful fresh
air, fresh beer, tasty food and a wonderful Lakeland atmosphere, located at the top
of one of the most beautiful valleys in all of England the Woolpack in is truly

The location is great for hiking the highest Lake District fells and experiencing the

As one of the areas most well known Inns, now under new ownership the Woolpack
Inn, Eskdale is going green. The new owners previously of the boot in intend to
upgrade the Inn and restore it to its former glory. In the meantime real ale, tasty
pub food and a warm welcome offered for your family and your dog will your
sampling beer in a large garden by enjoying it traditionally home-cooked Lakeland
meal.

Great local state, kidney pies, Herdwick Lamb, and home-made soup are all on offer
to the famished visitor. Real ale from a variety of local breweries is well-kept and
served correctly. The Woolpack was the winner of a real ale pub of Great Britain
award in 2005 and they continue to show they still have the talent to serve the
country’s best beer.

Accommodation wise there are six rooms available all ensuite, with prices held at
2006 rates starting at 32.50 per person per night which includes a delicious
English breakfast. Your dog is also most welcome to stay at the Woolpack as long as
they are housetrained and well-behaved.
