When it comes to discussing healthy food, pork and meat derivatives that come from processed pigs usually aren’t the highlight of the conversation. There are some obvious reasons for this, which we’ll be discussing today, so that you have a better understanding about why you should avoid pork as much as possible and focus on eating a plant based diet instead, especially if you’re dealing with any type of health related issues. It’s common knowledge that good diets can actually heal you up, while a bad diet can obviously kill you, which makes us wonder why are people not focusing on their diet a bit more.
What’s the difference between pork and other types of meat?
Pork contains a lot of fats, even the lean cuts. A good test for this is to fry some “lean pork” in a pan – you’ll notice the amount of fat being drained out as heat kicks in. When cooking this lean type of pork you may oversee the amount of fat being excreted out of the meat, because of which you’re looking into adding more bad cholesterol into your body. What about allergies?
Pork is rich with growth hormones since it’s a vital part of the food industry. Pigs are basically force fed to grow to an acceptable size, which isn’t a normal process. With growth hormones they become bloated and overweight. These hormones have an effect of accelerating tissue growth, and after consummation they promote cancer cells to grow faster. Histamine plays an important role in allergy reactions, and since pork contains very high concentrations of histamine, all allergic reactions are increased. This includes inflammation such as colon inflammation, blood vessel inflammation, gall bladder problems etc. Organically raised pigs may have a lesser effect towards intensifying allergy responses, but it still contains more than enough histamine which results in weakening your body towards acquiring more allergies.
Other known effects of pork
Pork protein structure is highly similar to the one found in human meat, which in some cases causes it to easily get into lymph nodes and blood together with other protein products and toxins. This process is much faster with pork than other plant or animal products. It also contains one specific protein which due to its structure has a high rate of rotting. Products which are a result of this process further put strain on your digestive system. However, lymph system as well as liver, cardiovascular system and other filtering organs are in higher risk of failing since they need to work at a higher rate.
