Gallery H

Those with a love for fine art are sure to enjoy a trip to The Promenade on Arnside. Next to the Lakeside estuary of the area, surrounded by the Lakeside hills sits a building which used to be the old Lancaster bank. Today, this Victorian structure houses a stylish museum known as Gallery H. Here guests can enjoy a wide range of art works like paintings, sculpture, furniture and jewellery.

Gallery H is composed of 2 levels and features 8 different viewing rooms. The viewing rooms in themselves are full of creativity with one of the exhibits being housed in the old bank vault. All over the gallery, an environment of comfort and style is felt. Visitors are sure to enjoy their time viewing the exhibits without feeling uptight or too restrained. Throughout the 8 viewing rooms, visitors will be able to see art pieces that have been created by internationally renowned artists. Original art works from 25 different artists are also part of the exhibits.

Aside from this, guests can also view a collection of jewelry pieces from 4 different artists. These bespoke jewelry pieces are unique in design and cannot be found anywhere else. Visitors are also welcome to purchase the pieces which are on display. Sculptures and Furniture and lighting fixtures from various artists may also be found on exhibit and are for sale as well.

The viewing and shopping does not end here. Gallery H also features a wide array of gift items which visitors may view and shop for. These items include glassware and silverware among other things. The gallery also accepts gift deliveries for other countries. Aside from these various items for sale the gallery also offers professional services for corporate projects, interior advice and wedding gift services among other things. The gallery also houses other changing exhibits throughout the year.

The gallery is open from 10 am to 5 pm from Mondays except on Thursdays. On Saturdays, it is open from 10 am to 4 pm and on Sundays from 11 am to 4 pm. Admission is free for all guests both young and old. Wheel chair access and wheel chairs are available for those with special needs. Guide dogs are also allowed into the facility. For visitors who prefer to a more personal tour of the gallery, private viewings may be arranged.
